About Typeface
NOT Signalizer is an experimental color variable typeface that transforms the flags of the International Code of Signals into a bold, readable alphabet. What
was once a system for coded messages at sea
becomes a new tool for visual communication.
As on the water, you can choose your direction.
The first and most expressive option is the Color Variable version, where much of the Latin alphabet, numerals, and a some of additional symbols transform into signal flags.

Alternatively, there is the more familiar Black Letter version, where characters are not assigned color
and no flags are used. This version provides the complete character set. Some Latin, Cyrillic,
Georgian, punctuation, and other symbols are available exclusively in this Black Letter version.
NOT Signalizer is for those who navigate systems, appreciate functional aesthetics, and aren’t afraid
to speak in code. It truly shines in motion,
web, and identity work.
